Oh...I love violets. The remind me of my grandmother. There are lots of medicinal uses for violets but too much and they can cause diarrhea. Tasty in salads as well.

When I look at these I always wondered how those old books had people buying a nosegay of violets. I've never seen enough with long enough stems to have a nosegay. Haha!
