it's bordering on to magenta but what the heck, it is beautiful. you already have blooming magnolias over there? it's still very cold in my nick of the woods here!
@summerfield These blooms on these trees very often get bitten back. They bloom early and then it frosts/freezes. However this year, it's not happened...yet. Usually the blooms are less purple and more dark pink. Thank you for your comments. @jamibann Thank you Issi. I really like these trees. @haskar Thank you. @cherrymartina Thank you Martina. @s4sayer I appreciate your feedback Margo. Although I'm not quite sure what you mean by unadorned. I'll take it as a compliment. Thank you. @cocobella Thank you Corinne. @overalvandaan Thank you Saxa @fbailey Thank you. The sun was so bright it was a little bit difficult to get. @stevepo Thanks Steve. @craftymeg Thank you Margaret. I admit I relied on the automatic focus feature of the camera a lot. The sun was so bright I couldn't see the image through the viewfinder. @ziggy77 Thanks Jo. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry.
