For the first time since I began sheltering in place, I bought take out. A banana milkshake from Sonic. I savored every sup. What a treat after multiple errands run (all performed from the "safety" of my car.
After being cooped up I got some takeout for my wife and myself. A fancy apple pancake and some sourdough french toast from our favorite breakfast place, The Original House of Pancakes. A nice break from oatmeal. I understand your comment about savoring your food.
@tunia Thank you Tunia. I used to love strawberry milkshakes from Burger King, but since Sonic came along, I like these banana ones. Trying to beef up a ho-hum shot. @mikelskoog Yes, I am very tired of cooking for myself, then eating the same thing for days before freezing the remainder. I'll be happy to go out for a meal when it's safer to do so.
I bought my family tacos the other day. I can make them better, maybe, but it felt quite rhe treat. Speaking of which, I like the treatment you gave this pucture.
