@grammyn Supposed to be making cranberry orange bread for Christmas gifts. I just couldn't make myself do it. I must do it in the morning. Thank you for your comments.
Cranberry orange bread sounds really good! I was looking for muffins with that at the supermarket yesterday but they didn't have any. Better for me that way though- I'm not supposed to be having so much sugar and carbs! Tasty shot!
@kjarn It's tart enough to make the sweet bread not so sweet. I really like it. I have enough cranberries and oranges left. I might make some muffins for me. @taffy Turned out pretty tasty if I do say so myself. Today's photo includes a slice. @jamibann I did that a Thanksgiving. I have a couple of other cranberry recipes I'd like to make. @wakelys Thanks Susan. I hope the recipients enjoy it. @pusspup Yup. I got up this morning and made it. @jb030958 Pretty good if I do say so myself. @brillomick The finished product is in today's photo. @craftymeg Yes Margaret, I've made it before but don't remember what recipe I used. I perused Pinterest to find a recipe. I found too many. So I just picked one. And it turned out well. @tunia Thank you Tunia. I like cranberries. And oranges. @thewatersphotos I wanted to make cranberry-orange bread to give as give as gifts. I made it today. @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian. @haskar Thank you Hannah. @olivetreeann I saw the Krusteaz mix Monday when I went but decided I make this from scratch. The recipe says it can be used for muffins too. I love muffins in the morning, so may be the next baking project. @joemuli Thanks Joey @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry.
is your knife a special knife? i used to use an angled knife when i had carpal tunnel syndrome. the problem was i was always cutting myself so i stopped using it. difficult to teach this old dog new tricks, i resist and resist and resist.
lovely colour here, and the bread sounds delish. i miss my colleagues' baking this time of year. your bread would taste even better paired with extra old gouda cheese and downed with mulled apple cider. aces!
@summerfield My husband loved knives and collected many. I have no idea what sort of knife this is, I'm afraid. I sliced my finger cleaning a bread knife the day after before making the fruit bread. I had to wear gloves while make the bread so I wouldn't get the bandaid wet and bleed all over everything. Seems like I did eat it with some hot cider. It's pretty darn good by itself. Going to make it again this week and instead of loaves going to make muffins to give away. Thanks very much, BTW.
