Afternoon sunlight

52 Week Challenge 2021 Week 3: Mobile Phone

A totally uninspired photo except for the nice light from the back of the house.
Oh I like getting this glimpse into this part of your house. The splash of sun on the floor is really neat.

And so neat and tidy!

It's beautiful. I love your wooden floor.

I feel like a nosey neighbour having a sneaky peak into your home.

Such a cozy home. And you are so right ... that light is beautiful!

Oh I don't know. It is nice to see how other photographers live!

You are not alone- I think I've read at least 10 posts over the last few days that started with "this shot is totally uninspired"! As for me, if I didn't have a bunch of shots never posted from December and a granddaughter visiting right now, I wouldn't have anything to post either. In spite of all that- you have a very nice home and I think I recognize that kitchen backsplash from a few shots!

I agree with the others. It is great to see where you live. It may not be inspired but it is definitely a terrrific illustration of part of your life.

Hi Kathy. Thanks for the challenge. It's one I'll really enjoy doing. Here in New Zealand we are incredibly lucky and have no restrictions on where we can go and who we can mix with. I don't know what challenges you have done but I thought I'd give you one I enjoyed - taking a photo using the Rule of Odds. There is information and examples on the internet. Let me know if you have done this challenge

@mcsiegle Thanks Mary.
@pusspup Did I mention post-processing? Just kidding. This one little area does look pretty good. Thanks Wylie.
@jamibann Thank you Issi. I like the floor a lot. It's engineered hardwood.
@wakelys It's OK Susan. My husband used to call me a rubber necker when we'd go somewhere because I'd be looking in home - just to see what they were like.
@farmreporter Thanks very much Wendy.
@ziggy77 Thank you Jo.
@craftymeg Thanks Margaret.
@will_wooderson I like to see different styles of homes and decorating.
@yolanda Thank you Yolanda.
@olivetreeann You do recognize the backsplash. I've done a number of shots in that corner of the kitchen.
@grammyn Thanks Katy.
@haskar Thank you Hannah.
@serendypyty Thank you Carole. Not so tidy.
@jernst1779 Thank you Jean.
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry.

@randystreat If you are happy to do the rule of odds again how about adding to the challenge and taking the shot from a low angle

So much to see here and a feel a bit snoopy, lol. Love the colors of the wood floor, furniture and walls there in your living room.
January 18th, 2021
@thewatersphotos Especially light in the wintertime. It seems warm somehow, even if it's not. Thank you Gary.
@jb030958 Don't be snoopy. I love to look at people's homes. I think it tells a bit about their personality. You can see here that I like "stuff."

@suez1e I will do my best. Thank you Sue.
