Get Pushed 510
My get-pushed partner's challenge: A challenge by using water for effects as a medium. This was a really tough challenge for me. I wasn't really sure what this meant and I should have clarified, but instead I thought and thought about it then forged ahead. Since there was no time and the weather wasn't conducive to go to the river or lake, I decided to try and do something inside. When I found this flower off the rhododendron lying on the ground this morning, I thought it would be perfect for a watery photo.
@mirroroflife I'm sorry I couldn't post until the very last minute. I hope this is sort of what you intended. I enjoyed thinking and planning this for the past few days.
@summerfield Pour water in the dish and shot it while I was pouring.
But I can't rub my stomach and pat my head at the same time. Thanks Vikki. @joemuli Thanks Joey.
Hello, kathy
You have probably noticed that I have not participated much this past month. I am in the middle of a move and have not had the time - or the ability - to post. I keep saying that but hopefully this week ...
We are putting an offer on a house this morning. It is available immediately so we can probably get possession quickly.
Your challenge is from this week's Trevor Carpenter photo challenge. It is 'hat photography' and his link has quite specific instructions and great tips.

@mirroroflife Thanks so much for the challenge and for your comments. Glad you like it. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @pusspup Thank you very much for saying so. @wakelys Thank you Sue. Rather summery don't you think? @ziggy77 Thanks Jo. @kjarn Thank you Kathy. I took a lot of photos to get one I liked. @grammyn I had the camera on the tripod and used one finger to press the shutter button (set on continuous shooting) and one to pour the water. Thanks Katy. @farmreporter thanks for the challenge. I think that I can handle this challenge. Interesting link. Good luck on getting your new home. I would imagine it's a bit stressful contemplating and planning a move so far away. Hope that it goes smoothly from here on out. @evgeniamsk Thank you so much. @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian very much. @craftymeg Thanks Meg. Hope you are doing well.
