Get Pushed #512
My partner this week challenged me to participate in the artist challenge she is hosting. This certainly was a challenge. I had access to YouTube videos to see how the artist created his abstract or mostly abstract images. I'm afraid I couldn't follow his train of creativity and I didn't have programs that he used beyond Lightroom and Photoshop. I created two images, one of which I will post tomorrow.
@kali66 Thank you again for the challenge and a challenge it was. But I enjoyed trying to find locations to shoot that would fit the artist's style. The YouTube videos were helpful to a point. The man has a deep Scottish brogue and the close captions were quite amusing a times.
@wakelys Thank you Sue. I appreciate your comments as I struggled with this. @grammyn Thanks for saying so Katy. I'm glad that you think it's a good imitation. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie. I really appreciate your comment.
I think you captured his work quite well. I didn't watch any of the videos but did scroll through quite a few of his pieces. I don't use Light Room or Photoshop so it really was a stab in the dark to see if the programs I use could mimic his style. You did a great job! Whenever you think you've struggled with one of these challenges, you really come through with flying colors!
this came out great, loosely based on his style is all i am after. i didnt think of the accent being a problem but you are right, it can be hard to understand , i dont think he is particularly good at talking about it .
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry @joemuli Thank you Joey. @olivetreeann Ann thank you so much. I'm humbled by your comments. @corinnec The artist had a castle in his background. Nothing like that here. Thank you. @kali66 It was very amusing to turn on close captioning and see what that piece of artificial intelligence made of his dialogue. Thank Kali. @mirroroflife Thanks. I made the correction. @summerfield Thank you so much Vikki. @jamibann I appreciate your comments Issi. The best results I've had using a ND filter. Perhaps the extra reading on how to used them helped. @kjarn Thanks Kathy. The photos are ICM but there's a bit of processing done afterward. @lynnz Thank you Lynn. @pusspup Thanks Wylie. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @taffy Thank you Taffy. @craftymegThanks Meg. @mcsiegle Thank you Mary. This didn't come easily to me. Lots of doing and undoing during post processing. I don't have the programs he used besides LR and PS. @sporenmaken Thank you Manon. @jernst1779d Thanks Jean. @haskar Thank you very much.
