Waiting for Christmas 2023

All packed up and put away
Cool- I feel like leaving mine all year round ,so I don’t have to pack and unload again🫣🥰

That’s a big job done.

Gone for another year.

You are ahead of me!

@joemuli Mine takes up too much room, even though it's not a huge tree. I might hang lights, though, since it's the lights I like as much as anything.
@shutterbug49 Unfortunately I haven't used sll the stuff in those totes in many years. I should whittle it down but I put different stuff out each year.
@onewing Yup.
@corinnec I just took a notion and did it while I was in the mood.

Congrats - that will be my job this week coming up!

the putting the Christmas decorations away is so much work. We started some of it yesterday. The tree is down.
January 8th, 2023
It will be here before you know it
January 8th, 2023
Wow, that's a lot of Christmas! I have about one of those boxes of decorations! Makes putting it away a lot easier! ;-)
January 8th, 2023
I did it yesterday!
January 8th, 2023
Gosh so many!!! Ours are back in the lift, half of them weren't used!!! Dave has container envy!!!
January 8th, 2023
I am always amazed how such delicate & pretty decorations take so much space when packed away.

@farmreporter Good to have it done.
@myhrhelper Seems it goes by faster than putting the stuff out. Having the tree down, whether real or artificial, is a major start.
@kjarn It does seem to come more quickly the older I get.
@jamibann Years of collecting Issi. You've moved too much probably to keep as much. I really need to go through it all and destash.
@franbalsera Seems to be a good time to do this task..
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Too many. A move to a different house and less than enthusiastic decorating since the move has left me with a lot to go through. Seems I don't ever get around to really looking at what I put out so I can shed some of the stuff that doesn't make the cut. Still a lot of emotions tied up in those things.
@wakelys Isn't that the truth. And it never packs up again like it did the last time.

My! Aren’t you industrious?! Mine will go down tomorrow. There’s been a lot going on here this week and I never take my down till Epiphany anyway. Terrific capture of your hard work. I wouldn’t object if you wanted to come and do mine as well!
January 8th, 2023
Good it’s packed away for another year!!
January 8th, 2023
Great job! The only thing that got put up this year were the outdoor lights and they're still there. Jeff picked up a new water heater and it's blocking the spot where the lights belong. We'll see how long we go before I can actually put them away! I'm impressed with your bins!

Must be bittersweet
January 8th, 2023
That`s a lot to store.

Great photo.
January 8th, 2023
Nice shot
January 9th, 2023
@grammyn As much as I'd like to visit you, I essentially lazy. I usually don't take mine down until at least after Epiphany.
@craftymeg Yes ma'am it is done.
@olivetreeann I like lights and your neighbors might too. Maybe consider keeping them up awhile just for their festive quality.
@taffy When you get in the mood to do it, it's not.
@pyrrhula Yes. A bunch of it I haven't used in awhile. I should purge some of it.
@la_photographic Thank you Laura.
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian.
January 9th, 2023
@randystreat They will remain up until the water heater is removed... this could take a while! haha
January 10th, 2023
And it looks very organized! Well done!
January 10th, 2023
@thewatersphotos The rubbermaid bins are great. You can shut the lids and pile them on top of each other. Organized. This is about as good as it gets at my house.
