Super-important question, though: What kind of mustard??? There are so many! My favorite is from Detroit, so we have to make arrangements to "import" it!
We are get-pushed-partners for the upcoming week. Your challenge is a silhouette. Hopefully that will fit nicely with your flash of red February. If you would prefer a different challenge, let me know and I'll set another.
@kjarn Not so much mustard when smeared across the bread. The sandwich filled the hollow spot. Thanks Kathy. @bkbinthecity It was tasty. Lunch after church doesn't get made or eaten until a long time after breakfast. Thanks Brian. @jamibann Thanks Issi. @grammyn Thanks Katy. I was hoping the bread would have a lot of texture and the ham and cheese a smooth texture. The mustard was a bonus and you're right. It was not too much. @rhoing Plain yellow mustard and generic store brand to boot. I'm a pretty plain Jane eater, especially compared to what I see in your photos. @shutterbug49 Thanks Debbie. I thought the bread bag would show up better, but at least it's not too distracting. (Upper left). @tunia It was good and went quickly. I was hungry. Thanks Tunia. @aecasey Silhouette is fine, especially since I'm not really following the prompts. Thank you April. @olivetreeann It was Ann. Sunday lunch. By the time I got to eat it, I was hungry. Thank you.
Great b&w capture and lovely textures. I don't really eat such things. I reduced it slowly. Cold meats and meat came first because I don't like them. I've been avoiding bread lately because it's getting worse and worse.
@summerfield I really like mustard. Can you tell? Thank you Vikki. @haskar Thank you Hannah. I have seen you comment that you've not been eating a number of foods. I hope you do it because it's healthier, not because they cause you to feel bad or that you have some problems that won't allow you to eat them. I don't have cold cuts often but like them when I do. Bread! I'm having the hardest time cutting back. @ziggy77 Thanks Jo @rhoing Grilled cheese - yum. I actually grilled this sandwich.
@randystreat Hey Kathy, it's not that bad here. There is too much of everything but of very poor quality. And I prefer quality over quantity. I eat vegetables, groats and cereals. I really like white cheese and, unfortunately, sweets.
