After day of almost continuous rain squalls -- rough seas, sighting dolphins from the catamaran but no whales --we enjoyed our best meal on the outdoor terrace of the famous Halekulani Hotel. Coconut shrimp, salmon sashimi , corn bread, and
to-die-for coconut creme cake. What's amazing is how changeable the weather is here.
Hadn't seen sun all day when it suddenly broke through the gloom right at sunset, treating us and
dozens of onlookers on the boardwalk to a magnificent light show!
