This tropical Protea Lurve blossom reminded me of a sea anenome. I upped the contrast to darken the background a bit but the vibrant orange color isn't enhanced. I love the feathery look of these flowers!
i call this fireworks; they're very lovely flowers. i have a green one in the arrangement in my living room. it's probably dead by now as i forgot to change the water this morning. :-D
It does look like it's a part of the sea, not a plant. Well spotted, well captured. I like the three colors in the palette of the shot, and th way the patterns blur out in the green one.
