New-to-me butterfly: Mylitta Crescent [filler #16]

A one-frame day and while it was a great shot of an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail … it's just another Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, and I've posted enough of those.

I photographed this one during our recent trip to California, so this is probably the only photo I'll ever have of this species. My second-and-last west coast butterfly. The 46th different species I've posted, http://365project.org/tags/tm-butterfly-species (one more, Grace).

Confirmed at BAMONA as “Phyciodes mylitta” or “Mylitta Crescent”; http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/sighting_details/1095582

This is cool with the butterfly sitting so low in the flower.
