Was at the local pier today and noted this guy flying this drone around. He then spotted this Heron some distance away and sent the drone over to make a picture of the Heron that was feeding. Guess it got a little closer than the Heron liked, so, off it went. I guess that's one way to get close up's, not sure I would go along with that. Sounded like a giant mosquito buzzing around.
I think they can be a bit intrusive if the operator isn't sensitive to other people and wildlife .... still I bet they get some great shots. Your shot is great capturing both drone and disturbed heron!
