Heard a couple of these guys chirping as I got back to my car, so had to run out to the open spot of the park and there I could see two of them flying overhead. Just didn't have much time to get shots, as it was between the trees, and then they were off, down the river.
Rick, I hope you will help me identify the bird picture I posted last night. I thought it might be a golden eagle but a friend thinks it is a juvenile bald eagle which probably makes more sense but I would like just to identify it in my catalog.
@joansmor Joan, not totally sure about that one. I looked up the golden eagle, and to me, it seems more like one of those than the juvenile eagle. Hopefully, someone will be more familiar with it and can identify it for sure.
@rickster549 Thanks Others agree including friends who have seen an adult in this same tree. Maybe we are starting a new population. I would love to get a picture with my camera.
