@30pics4jackiesdiamond @kiwinanna Thanks Jackie and Liana - so many sorts crop up - great shapes and great colours. Unfortunately they don't last long. Good for playing with the collage too. Cheers

Fab images and collage

@sarahlth @dawnee Thanks Sarah and Dawn - the whole making of a collage is not as easy as it seems? The prefab ones never seem to have the number and shape you want?? This is about my third go at making my own - tricky but seems to give you what you want. Thanks for the encouragement.

@cruiser Hi Chris - thanks for your comment. They are nice - they go through so many stages and each one seems interesting. I like the little fringe they get around the edge.

Another fabulous mushroom collage! Well done! So far, I haven't ventured into the area of creating collages. Do you create yours in Photoshop? :-)

@gaylewood Thanks Gayle. Do you have a lot of time? The making of collages seems to be addictive, and time consuming, and very satisfying!! I use a pretty old program bequeathed to me by my tech savvy daughter. It's microsoft Digital Editor - maybe it's the precursor to Photoshop? It has inbuilt collage frames you can use and it will autofill the spaces for you. I find it annoying - they never fit well. Instead I've been starting a blank canvas and fitting photos onto it - you can arrange them how you like and overlap them and bring some forward and send others back. Have all your individual photos cropped and edited and framed first. It doesn't matter if they hang off the canvas - you just crop the whole lot at the end. Save it and then frame the whole lot at the end. It's very satisfying, very time consuming and very addictive!! Cheers

@robz Thank you so much for taking the time to so thoroughly explain the collage creation process for me. I use Photoshop and Lightroom, actually I should say I'm learning how to use Photoshop and Lightroom . . . I haven't come across collages yet but I'm sure I will as time goes by and I continue exploring both programs. :-)
