This little spider was so fascinating that he needed a composite photo to show off his skills - and his cute eyes!! In the first image you can see him collecting the strand between his hind legs - ready to continue weaving. He has already produced quite a good end product which he is holding carefully between his front legs. In the second image he has positioned the new thread high enough to do some weaving, with strands now available at the sides and ready to go. He is using the other two pairs of legs to add to the web he has already produced. An amazing natural weaving machine!!
@granagringa Hi Madeline - thanks for your kind comments - this was a pretty easy composite to make - the backgrounds were the same. Just like the turtles. It's a bit of a cheat - you don't have to choose just one photo when you like several. :)
@louisanoffke Hi Sapphire - this little guy didn't seem creepy - he was a bit too skinny and stick like to be very worrying. And he was too hard at work to even notice me. Cheers Rob
Very very merry Christmas Rob. Thank you for all your lovely support and comments over the past year. Feel I've made a new friend over the past 365 days x
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - thanks for your lovely comment and your Christmas wishes - we have had a lovely day here - it was a pretty typical hot Christmas Day with lots of food, family, friends and laughter. I have really enjoyed my first year with 365 and it has been lovely to follow your project - especially with your sense of humour providing light relief on many days!! I have also appreciated your comments and support and look forward to continuing our exchanges into the new Year.
