Spot metering #3

I've tried to photo these flowers so many times - always with no success. I actually liked this one - the custom setting - all max - combined with the spot metering to give something that seemed quite OK. :)
A bright flower to make you sit up and take notice! Very nice capture.

@koalagardens Hi Katrina - is that what these flowers are called - It used to belong to my Dad and as it's not a native I had no idea what it was. They are hard to photo because that silly middle protrusion always looks silly! This one was just forming. Thanks for the info!

It sure has brightened up what I assume is a vibrant red plant all on its own! And after reading your comment above, I think you've taken a shot of it at the perfect angle. Well done!

I find red really difficult to capture, you have it all here! I must try spot metering.
