Some in-camera "Illustration" shots #3

A ready-made abstract from the black soil agricultural area near us. The vertical post is actually an electrical pole - and it really is at that angle. The black soil contracts and pushes the posts out of the soil!! In some places it does the same thing and pushes dinosaur bones up to the surface.... :)
Ooo dinosaur bones… very interesting to read wow…
I like this abstract…

@radiogirl Hi Kathy. In some inland areas of Australia (eg Winton in Qld.) large nos of dinosaurs once roamed the area. Groups of them died and their skeletons were covered by sediments which later formed black soil plains. These are the same soils that cause the electrical poles in my photo to be gradually uplifted and lean over. The dinosaur bones can be uplifted and sometimes emerge through the surface layers. Only a few will surface but it gives the scientists an idea where to dig. A large number of skeletons have been excavated. It's all pretty fascinating. Cheers Rob

It sounds like a very interesting area geographically speaking. How fun would it be to discover some of the dinosaur bones!
