Walked the beach on the east end of the island this morning and found an abandoned sailboat. I talked to the ranger about it and 2 months ago the owner was coming in at night and due to navigational errors and ran aground. It has since been abandoned . The keel is stuck more than 6 ft into the sand. It could have been saved if towed in a timely manner. Such a waste. I know my horizon is not straight and I cut off the mast in this one but I still liked it.
