Sorry but I couldn't resist putting him on again. I planted my potatoes this morning and because I had been digging, he came to see if there was anything nice to eat. If I had had my camera in my pocket, I couldn't have got some really good pics as I could almost touch him he was so close. Anyway, each time I went to put the tools away, he was there picking around in the newly dug soil and I liked this one of him on a stick I had put in the ground to remind me where the potatoes were planted. I just think they are such sweet little birds and we have goldfinches, wrens and blue tits nesting as well so all in all, it is good to look after the birds because they give me hours of pleasure just watching them.
@misskish@boogie Thanks. He's lovely and I look forward to seeing him each day because him and his wife are so busy feeding their chicks that they are in and out of the nest all the time and this is just above my front door. Hee has to wait if I am coming out before he can deliver the food!
@michelle58@moirab Thanks - robins are always looking out for some easy food so when you are digging, they soon come round to see if there's anything for them
