This is not a particularly good shot as she was sitting high up in a tree and there were little twigs around her and the camera kept focusing on them. This mistle thrush comes to see us every morning now and waits for me to put sultanas, raisins or any other dried fruit as well as suet pellets out for her. Although she is quite shy, she soons sees off the blackbirds and I have seen her shouting at them on top of the sundial if they come anywhere near her. She was making a real din this morning up in the tree. She did have a mate who came with her but I haven't seen him for a few days. I wish I had my camera handing when she was shouting at the blackbird though because it would have made a good pic. The noise she was making this morning was what attracted me to go outside and see what it was. It was probably an alarm call but very different from blackbirds distinctive alarm call. I've learnt something new again today.
