This little greenfinch was sitting in the top of one of our silver birch trees and decided to fluff himself up before flying away. The tree was swaying a bit as it's quite windy here today. However, it's also quite hot when our walking. I had to come home and change into cooler clothes. A friend of ours is coming to dinner tonight as her husband is in hospital with a clot on his lung. He should be coming home tomorrow after treatment so I might still find myself behind with commenting, etc.
