It's been another lovely sunny day and I decided to walk over to Priory Country Park because I remembered my wellie boots today. I walk through from Priory Business Park so I cross the lock and this is the view. This is where I saw my friend the heron the other day but I didn't see any herons today which is quite unusual.
The camera saga continues. Having undone the box 3 times because I forgot to remove the memory cards, put the guarantee card for my 300mm lens (which I'm not returning) and another reason I can't remember why, I thought to myself 3rd time lucky. Wrong! I took the parcel to the collection point in Kempston only to be told that the bar code would not scan because it wasn't long enough. I couldn't believe it - the camera must be jinxed. Anyway, after spending 40mins on the phone to Amazon again (good job it's a Freephone number), it is now going to be collected from my office by Yodel. I now have to open the parcel yet again to change the return form inside and change the label on the front.
On the positive side though, John Lewis have sent me an email to say that my new one has been despatched. I just hope we are here when it arrives as it needs to be signed for and my grotty neighbours wouldn't take it in for me. Fingers crossed
@caddick Oh I didn't realise you had been moving. Hope it all went well and Tinker & Tetley are settling in and liking their new surroundings. I shall wait to see more pics when your camera is available.
