I've been for another very long walk this morning as I have an evening meeting so haven't been to work today. I followed the river Great Ouse towards Gt Barford walking along a footpath that runs parallel with the fields. Both sides of the river seem to be good habitat for geese and swans who peck around the fields. Several times geese flew over but there are lots of trees so it's always difficult to get a decent shot before they fly behind the trees. This one is a greylag goose and you can always tell when they are coming as they are very vocal.
Thank you for your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated
My goal in my bird pictures is to capture a few in flight with clarity. My ideas or misconceptions of how this works is being changed as I see pictures like this. Just wonderful.
