I took this the other day but didn't get a chance to post it so thought I would use it today. We have been out in the garden clearing up the rest of the tree cuttings and I've been weeding the vegetable plot so haven't really had much time for a walk. It's lovely having a large garden but it does take a lot of work to keep it looking nice.
I was pleased to hear a knock at the door and the delivery man from Amazon was there with my 3 Gino D'Acampo books. I only ordered them on Friday night after I had been watching his program on TV and they arrived today Sunday - brilliant service you get from Amazon as I had free delivery which you expect within 3 - 6 business days. They are really lovely books and I'm sure that I will enjoy using them although I will have to watch the calories!
Nice photo; I especially like the reflection! Are those cookbooks that you mentioned receiving in your narrative? If so, maybe we'll soon be getting to see some pics of your delicious creations - with some hints on how to make them;)
Such a gorgeous swan and look, it can do ballet!!! LOL Love that beautiful water and the reflection of it's long, graceful neck!!! I try to stay away from buying cook books of any kind! I just like to eat way too much!! Love this capture and it's clarity and composition!! FAV!
@dsp2 Yes they are cookbooks but they also tell you about different places in Italy so they are doubly interesting. I think they will give me some inspiration for some new dishes and you do tend to cook the things that you can do without looking at a recipe and I'm hoping that now I've reduced my hours at work, I will have more time to think about cooking some nice meals
