Resting

As we came downstairs this morning, we have a half landing as our stairs twist round and Steve noticed this blackbird who was resting on the fence so of course I quickly grabbed my camera from the bedroom and took this shot of him. He was resting in the sunshine which soon disappeared after we got up. To look at him, I would say that he is probably an old bird who is a bit worn out after the breeding season. I shall keep him going with all the food until his day is done!
