Burying his nuts

This was taken at lunchtime when Squizzer came to gather his nuts! He had already been at breakfast time but when he came this time, he decided he had better bury some nuts for later. He was back and forth to the nut box and burying his nuts in the leaf covered lawn. I thought he looked quite nice in the leaves. In between burying some, he did sit on the fence and ate a load too. I think he will be rather chunky if he keeps eating at this rate. I'm off to Bedford soon to buy a load more nuts as the Squizzers have had all of my supply. Between the birds and Squizzers, they eat me out of house and home but I don't begrudge them as they do provide an awful lot of entertainment. This was taken through the kitchen window as it's been raining again this morning and it has been windy too!
