Goldie

I have just had my neighbour round regarding their trees and she went on and on and in the end I had to ask her to leave. She has made me shake with rage and I'm not usually the sort of person who gets upset easily but instead of saying what she has come to say, she goes on and on repeating herself and going over old ground. They have had consent to trim the trees which tower over our house and prevent us getting any sunshine into the garden in summer and she is now saying that the trees will bush out more than ever if they trim them and the council will not consider another application to trim them again - utter rot!

Anyway, now that I am feeling a bit calmer, I shall tell you that I took this picture through the kitchen window as it's extremely windy today with storm Henry so I haven't been out for a walk. Perhaps I wouldn't have encountered my neighbour if I had gone out - note to self: don't stay in during the afternoon, you might have your senses assaulted by royalty from next door!

Sorry about my moans and thank you for getting yesterday's shots on PP - it is always a pleasure to know that you like my images.
Nice one

This is a beautiful capture Rosie!! Your neighbour sounds a nightmare!! Feel free to let it all out here - it's very therapeutic!! Hope they get them cut down so you get your light in the summer. I have my fir trees cut back every two years and they haven't got much thicker.

I like the way Goldie looks just a tiny bit ruffled to reflect your mood. The tree issue is indeed troublesome (my dad has a similar problem). Hope your neighbour sees sense. Meanwhile, the picture is splendid.

How absolutely beautiful!

You captured a fun image in your rage! We wanted to buy an amazing house which required collective decision making about our property with the neighbours... instead, we live in another house... its ugly, but I don't have to make decisions about whether or not the neighbours should die! haha

Sounds like she would make a good politician. Saying much about nothing.

Don't take any notice of her, she's just got nothing better to do than moan! Lovely shot. Perhaps you can take her photo next time she comes to rant at you and put it on here for us all to see! haha
