This is a filler as Storm Doris has stopped all the birds in their tracks and I have hardly seen any in the garden. It's much too windy to go for a walk and I really feel sorry for all the poor little birds. It must be awful for them trying to fly around while they are being battered about.

I was sitting in my lounge watching out for the birds but no visitors to be seen. Suddenly a sparrow hawk flew in and landed on my owls head which is on the table under the covered area outside my window. I couldn't believe my eyes!! He had a good look round and then flew off. No wonder the little birds were all hiding!! Sadly I did not have my camera with me!!
