Steve spotted this little mouse in the garden and we are sure we know where he lives as there is a mouse hole about 20 yds from where he was and he managed to travel most of the way back before hiding in the rockery. He seemed very tame and was first spotted eating seed that had dropped from the bird feeder in one of the trees. They are crafty and know where to get fed!
The kingfishers have definitely fledged and I think I saw one flying close to the bank on my side of the brook before disappearing in the foliage. I didn't get any shots of Bluey but I suspect that he will have another brood before long so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
