Redwing by rosiekind

Redwing

I went for a walk along the cycle track this morning hoping to see some fieldfare or goldfinches eating the teasels neither of which I saw. However, I saw some redwings and the robins kindly sang for me. It was lovely to see blue sky and sunshine although the wind was bitterly cold.

Redwings are members of the thrush family and overwinter in Britain.

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
