Mandarin by rosiekind

Mandarin

I went for a long walk hoping to get some shots of the horses in the field along the main road after I had stopped off at the Post Office. However, they were over the far side of the field which was behind a fence so not much opportunity. They were trying to shelter from the wind so I decided to walk back towards the village, along Balls Lane followed by a walk along part of Church Road. I turned off down Jake's Drive which is really a footpath, along the cycle track past Danish Camp and hoping to see my little robin friend from yesterday. He was about but flew off and didn't want to play ball today! I can't say that I blame him as the wind could cut you in half!

I stopped to take a few photos through the wire fence at Danish Camp and saw that most of the ducks, geese etc. were having their food. This mandarin decided to get into the feeding dish but it did look a bit empty!

Thanks for getting yesterday's robin and redwing on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
