As I had to go to Sandy for my travel vaccinations, I thought I would just pop down to see whether the waxwing was still there. There were only 2 people with cameras/binoculars and they were standing near Gate 2 so I decided to walk down to Gate 1 where I had seen him yesterday and lo and behold, he flew into the tree. This fieldfare was also in the tree so I thought I had better take a photo of him too. It's the first one I have photographed this winter.
Thanks for getting yesterday's waxwing and redwing on PP yesterday and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated. I am off to Camera Club tonight and I have 3 images in the architectural competition so wish me luck.
