For about a week this waxwing has been hanging around a road in Sandy so I decided to investigate. Fortunately for me, there were only 4 or 5 people there when I arrived and after waiting a little while in the cold, I was rewarded by some shots of the waxwing complete with berry in his mouth. I have never taken a photo of a waxwing before as I have never seen one in the flesh so I was thrilled to not only see him, but get some shots of him.
Afterwards I went along to the RSPB HQ in Sandy and took a lot of nice shots there too so it was difficult to decide which ones to post but I think it will give me some nice photos to post when the weather is awful and the light is poor.
