RK3_9952 Male yellowhammer

When I first saw this little fellow, I couldn't remember whether it was a yellowhammer or a corn bunting but I think it's a corn bunting as it doesn't have the reddish colour on it. I took this when I went for a walk along Wood Lane this morning. Now I realise that it’s a yellowhammer due to Mark Prince confirming it.

Thanks for getting yesterday's classic car on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
Nice find Rosie, unfortunately it's not a Corn Bunting. It is a very tatty looking Yellowhammer.

@markp I must admit that I thought it was a yellowhammer at first but then got confused when I saw the other bird with it. Thanks for letting me know

@rosiekind I think the other one is a juvenile yellowhammer.
