I love cottage garden flowers and this is a delphinium which I grew from seed a few years ago. They have been rather spoilt by the rain as have my roses which look all droopy now. Good job I captured them over the past few days. I wasn't sure which pic to post in my main album but thought I would post the books as it was something different from the birds and flowers that I normally post. Now today I can say that is the longest day. I don't know about summer solstice - it hasn't looked very summery today!
