Young robin by rosiekind

Young robin

He's learning very quickly how to get on the feeders - birds seem to be so adaptable. All today's pics were taken through either the conservatory or kitchen windows so they are probably not the best quality but it rained all morning
Lovely capture!

Rosie, I realize I've never seen a young robin. He's so lovely, his plumage is beautiful, thanks for sharing him.

I wouldn't have recognised it as a young robin - so cute.

@skatied @soboy5 @quietpurplehaze @carolmw @busylady Thank you for your kind comments. Robins don't get their red breast until later - they moult and get their adult plumage at the end of summer. I've just looked that up in a bird book so that I can appear to be very knowledgeable! LOL

@rosiekind That's one aspect of 365 that I like - you have to make sure of your own knowledge on anything!
