This is the only flower on an old hibiscus standard which Steve's Dad planted many years ago. It doesn't do very well and in fact I think this is the first flower i've seen on it during the 8 years I have lived here! It's an unusual colour and I thought it was very pretty with it's contrasting cerise middle (don't know what the technical term is - lol)
