I looked at this sunflower that has grown out of our patio and it's all down to the fact the birds dropped it from the bird table. It reminds me of a book called "The Rose that grew from concrete" by Tupac. It is a book of poems that I discovered in our library. Tupac was a rapper and my son knew all about him but the poems were really beautiful and so moving. I must get the book out again.
