Blackbirds love fruit so I buy bags of sultanas every week when I go shopping and put them out each morning before we have our breakfast. I was delighted to see a couple of baby blackbirds in the garden being fed by their mother yesterday.
Lovely to have baby blackbirds - this is a good shot - didn't know they liked sultanas. I want to ask what may seem like a silly question - do male and female adult robins both have red breasts?
@quietpurplehaze It's not a silly question - yes adult robins look very much alike. I only think I know which is male and which is female by the size because I think Mrs Robin looks slimmer than her male counterpart but I'm only guessing. Baby robins have a brown speckled breast until they moult and get their winter coats!
