The Cock at Broom

I actually took these shots yesterday when I went to a couple of pubs to ask them whether they would display some posters to advertise the fact that I am trying to set a Good Neighbour group up in their parish. Don't I have a lovely job? Visiting pubs during my working hours - LOL. I didn't have a drink in either of them though.

The Pub with No Bar" is a unique ale and dining pub close to the A1M at the Biggleswade North turn.
Broom is a beautiful village close to Jordans Mill , and only a few miles from the Town of Shefford
Now a thriving Freehouse The Cock has been licensed since 1836.
Originally a row of early 19th century cottages, the pub has grown from a single room with beer fetched from the cellar into the adjacent cottages.
The interior is listed on Heritage Pubs Website - read more about its history on their website.
Since becoming a Freehouse (July 2013) the pub has undergone improvements to all rooms and they can now offer a warm welcome and superb ale and food.
Their main dining room seats up to 22, and they can also cater to the front and middle rooms for smaller, more intimate gatherings.
They also have a traditional games room with a rare Northamptonshire skittles table. This is available for casual use or can be booked to cater for fun nights with family, friends or work nights out

The picture on the right is where they get the beer from - it is just a very small walk in pantry really. All the rooms of the bar are very small and wood panelled. It really is a unique pub.

Best viewed large if you have time to see the barrels more closely with the glasses stacked underneath in the right hand pic.

A lovely shot and super information.
