When I took this shot, I didn't realise that Mr Greenfinch was standing below Mrs Greenfinch and it made me realise that my eye is getting worse as I can't necessarily see what type of bird I am photographing but see the shape of a bird and shoot! It's not until I get home and see the images on my PC that I realise just what I have got. I was pleased to see a pair of greenfinches together as they are probably a couple and it will be good if they breed next spring as greenfinches have been in decline due to a disease.
