Skylark

I could hear the skylarks but didn't think I would get any photos but this one decided to flutter for a few seconds over the field. Not a terribly good photo but I was amazed to have a chance as I have never seen them long enough to photograph before.

They're amazingly hard to capture. We have one flies in and out of our garden and sits on a very high tree, but I can never get a decent shot!
