The only time I have had a jackdaw in my garden

He stopped by to taste the suet balls and it's one from May 2018

How amazing that they don't come to your garden, are they very rare?

Great capture and well spotted. I have never had one in my garden as far as I know we don't seem to get them in this area.

I get loads of them Rosie and they roost in the trees in the field behind my home, they are very clever birds. Lovely capture. FAV

@ludwigsdiana No Diana they’re not rare but they don’t usually visit gardens. They are more often seen in fields or built up areas
