One of my newly planted courgettes by rosiekind

One of my newly planted courgettes

I have grown these from seed in my conservatory and thought it was time to plant them out. I will cover them with large flower pots if we get any frosts but hopefully, they should be alright. I have now planted potatoes, carrots, peas, radishes, beetroot and salad leaves as well as the courgettes. The tomatoes are just little plants in the conservatory and won't get planted out in the greenhouse until the weather warms up considerably as it is not heated. I must put my runner bean seeds in to grow inside next. I just love to watch things grow and even better when you taste them!
That is so clear, great focus, & thoughts of supper to come!

@grammyn It's like a baby marrow and I use them in stir fries or cook the with butter and onion and eat them as a vegetable with other dishes. You can also have them with peppers, aubergine and tomatoes but my mind has gone blank as to what it is called

@piedfly Thanks - they are so easy to grow and the flowers are pretty before they turn into courgettes which are quite a versatile vegetable
