A body was found in the river at noon on New Year's Day by a passer by. I was so surprised to see the goose having a snooze by the flowers which have been laid as a tribute. The body hasn't been formally identified (according to the local paper) and the cause of death has not been given as a post mortem is imminent. So sad that someone has lost their life at the beginning of a new year. Last night we had a 30 year old man stabbed to death in the town as well. What a violent world we live in these days. After I took this pic, 3 people came with flowers and were obviously very upset so I left quietly and was glad that I had taken the pic before they arrived as I would not want to invade their grief
