Another candid shot of these gentlemen sitting on a seat under the tree which is on the market square in Bedford near St Paul's Church. I think they are probably Italian. We have quite a large Italian population in Bedford as a lot of prisoners of war settled here. They mainly worked in the brickworks but these have now closed. These gentlemen look as though they have long retired anyway.
