Cardington Green by rosiekind

Cardington Green

This is SOOC and the sky really was beautifully blue when I took this. I love the big clouds. All of us at work stood outside our office looking across the green to listen to the peel of bells which was supposed to be rung at 1.30pm to celebrate the fact that Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity was started 60 years ago today. The bell ringers however got muddled up by the date and therefore it didn't happen. We were all very disappointed but we did have some cup cakes in our community room so it wasn't all bad. It's shame because several Board Members came especially for the celebration.
A beautiful landscape.

Nice shot Rosie; beautiful sky and nice write-up in spite of the disappointment of the occasion.

What a shame the bell ringers confused their dates... Still it'll probably happen next week!

I know this place very well! When I'm in the office the "Kings Arms" pub, just off the green, is our local! Sunk many a happy beer in there!
