I think this is Stumpy - our blackbird who thinks he's king of our garden. Last year, he didn't have much of a tail but it's obviously grown as I'm sure it's the same blackbird who tries to shoo all the other blackbirds away. He doesn't like any of them to eat the food I put out for them each morning so I've taken to spreading it about and put some a little way away as well as on the sundial. That way he can't be in two places at once. However, he flies from one to the other chasing the other blackbirds away. However, the starlings aren't scared of him and just carry on regardless. I have to say he doesn't seem bothered with them.
