The greenfinches and the siskins seem to be friends with each other and these two - the greenfinch on the left and the siskin on the right just sat on the feeder chomping away. This was taken before I went to work and when I got home this afternoon, this feeder was completely empty just as all the other sunflower heart seeders are. That will be the first job in the morning to fill them all up again. The birds are really eating an awful lot at the moment but this was after a slow start due to the mild weather. I'm glad they come to my garden though as I love to see and hear them chattering away.
I posted this shot really to show anyone who isn't very good at naming birds so that they will know what they are if they visit their garden. I don't know whether other countries have birds like this because I live in the UK
